We’re utterly, utterly, devastated to share the news that Pete Hodge, musician and artist, has died.
He was a true part of the fabric of the pub, always enthusiastic about music and musicians, and always supportive of emerging talent. He played regularly in The Red Lion, released numerous albums, painted many wonderful watercolours, and always left a trail of happiness behind him. There are many, many examples of small — and large — acts of kindness, generosity, and support, and many, many people whose world is now a poorer place for his absence.
We’ll have a lot more to say about Pete soon, but for now, cheers to our good friend, musical champion, and all-round good egg, and our collective best wishes to his wife, Brenda, and the rest of his family.
His funeral will take place at Fladbury Crematorium on Tuesday, 6th January 2026, at 1pm.
