Max Stockin
We say...
Our favourite busker, Max has been a great supporter of The Red Lion over the years. He’s got a great retro style, with a focus on songs from the 1950s and 60s (and earlier), as well as a smattering of his own work.
They say...
Max Stockin is a singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Worcestershire, England. After picking up a guitar aged 17 and armed with invaluable advice from his virtuoso uncle, Max set out to form a band. Named ‘The Fidgets’, they quickly began performing all around the West Midlands, including some ventures into London and Europe, racking up over 1,000 performances in a little over five years.
Now, as a fully fledged solo artist in his own right, Max has continued and built upon that hard work ethic established with The Fidgets. He has amassed a wide repertoire of vintage pop, rock and roll and blues music, as well as his own, original compositions. Unique, powerhouse vocals coupled with energetic guitar rhythms make Max’s live performances spirited, upbeat and memorable.
