The Original Welsh Border Morris Men — December 2025

Every year, on the last Saturday before Christmas, there’s a day of enthusiastic chaos when The Original Welsh Border Morris Men come together for a single tour (and one ale-influenced rehearsal). This year they danced through Sinton Green, White Ladies Aston, Pershore, Evesham, Upton-upon-Severn, Worcester, and then back to Sinton Green to, presumably, fall asleep. He was a true part of the fabric of the pub, always enthusiastic about music and musicians, and always supportive of emerging talent. He played regularly in The Red Lion, released numerous albums, painted many wonderful watercolours, and always Pete Hodge
