The Red Lion in Evesham Market Square is going back to its roots after finally opening ‘The Grove’ next door.
The room is part of the same building and was previously used by the pub more than a century ago, according to popular landlord, Tom Doggett.
The additional space has increased the size of the pub by 20 per cent, and whilst renovating, it is believed a stone from Evesham Abbey was found.
