Pale straw colour. First Gold, Celeia, and Worcestershire Fuggles hops. Very refreshing stronger beer with a hint of citrus. This beer has been named after No:2857, GWR 2-8-0 Freight Locomotive. Built in 1918 and designed by George Jackson Churchward, Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Great Western Railway.
Pale beer with a distinct sweetness and underlying hints of citrus and a fruity aroma. This beer was brewed to commemorate the Severn Valley Railway’s Golden Jubilee year in 2015. It was so well received we have decided to add it to our range.
Our homage to the traditional English Ale. Amber in colour, the sweetness from the select quality malts lead to a beautiful balance of choice hops of time gone by, that give a rich and moreish flavour with pine, sweet fruit, berry and smooth spice aroma.
A very pale beer with sweetness, fresh, fruity, & citrus of the single hop Citra
A dark, sweetish, strong Ale with smooth fruity flavour & slight Liquorice after taste.
This beer was brewed in honour of the late William Mucklow who was the last commercial brewer in Bewdley and ceased brewing in 1912. He was reputed to have brewed a strong sweet dark mild (approx 6%+) and it was alleged to have been the second strongest mild in the country.
