This beer was brewed in honour of the late William Mucklow who was the last commercial brewer in Bewdley and ceased brewing in 1912. A premium bitter with slight sweet caramel malt and fruity hop aroma. Smooth drinking sweetness with fruity raisin notes balanced by bitter hop to a gentle short bitter/dry finish. It’s a classic beer, which we buy slightly begrudgingly from ABInBev, but it is a fundamental part of our beer history.
Sweet & Salty come together – trust us this works! Loads of caramel and pale chocolate malt lay down the base for this beer, with additions of Maldon Salt.
