Otter Ale is where it all started. A premium ale must have full flavour and a fair strength without compromise. These two characteristics must be so cleverly balanced, that when the glass is returned to the table after that first slurp, a sigh of appreciation should be heard around the bar.
Funk ‘n Soul is brewed with Calypso hops – Honey coloured, aromatic, light & fruity.
Using the finest Maris Otter malting barley from Adam’s own land and aromatic Fuggles hops, delicious fruity Cascade and Amarillo hops and of course, purest Mendip Spring Water, Rare Breed is a distinctive, clean tasting Pale Ale with a smooth, citrus twist.
Cotswold Ram, an extension of Butcombe’s collaboration with Adam Henson, honours “The Cotswold Lion”, another one of Adam’s conserved rare breeds. This 5.4% Extra Pale Ale boasts a robust golden hue, with British malts offering a light biscuity flavour and a blend of Target and Celeia hops providing floral, citrus, and cedar hints.
Cascade leads the line with plenty of citrus and floral notes, tropical mango notes underpin, but they’re not telling us what else is in it!
A deep red hue, buckets of orange zest flavours from Bravo & Amarillo.
Citrus and tropical pale ale.
The roasted coffee and chocolate aroma of this silky smooth Oat Stout is followed up swiftly with flavours of rich malt and a mild hop bitterness provided by Goldings. The biscuity malt backbone ties this beer together beautifully, ticking all the boxes of what we want from an easy drinking stout.

A rich stout full of dark fruit flavours, balanced with a chocolatey finish from roasted malts.
