It’s hard to know how to describe James Chatfield (although we’d only use superlatives). He has an entirely unique sound, playing bass, electric, and acoustic guitars alongside one another, with judicious use of a loop pedal. The result is a haunting, meditative, captivating sound which both invigorates and relaxes. A must-see.
