Superb musicians playing foot-tapping music influenced by bluegrass, the blues, country and Irish folk. Great fun, and a great sound.

The Gathering is currently made up of Iain Cother on acoustic guitar and vocals, Sam Rath on the acoustic drum kit and Bruce Irving on the bass guitar.

The Gathering is meant to be a concept rather than a band, it is a gathering of musicians that is subject to change depending on who is available. As it evolves, I am hoping to add further instruments such Fiddle, Banjo, Harmonica etc.

We play foot stomping roots music including Bluegrass, Country, Blues and Irish, mostly covers with a couple of our own and one or two Paradies. All not to be taken to serious.
