Stratford-upon-Avon Beer & Cider Festival

We’re running a bus to Shakespeare CAMRA’s Stratford-upon-Avon Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday 6th June. It’s £25 all in, which will cover: We’ll be leaving the pub around noon, and returning at about 5pm: plenty of time to sample the fantastic range of beers and ciders available at the festival. Hannah Wheeler Art Exhibition

Hannah creates intense, atmospheric and playful oil paintings; specialising in individual portraits, family gatherings, friendship groups — and occasionally animal portraits. She’ll be exhibiting in ‘The Grove’ at The Red Lion during the Medieval Market weekend, 16th & 17th May. Come along to meet the artist, browse (and purchase!) her work, or to discuss a Hannah Wheeler Art Exhibition


The Great Evesham Spring Clean

Join Anti-Litter Evesham for a morning of tidying up after the tossers of Evesham. Litter is a national — international — problem, and sadly hardly anywhere seems to escape the selfishness of people who think their rubbish should be someone else’s responsibility. It’s part of The Great British Spring Clean, which in 2025 helped clear The Great Evesham Spring Clean


The Battle of Evesham Festival

Travel back to 1265 with re-enactments groups from all over the country who will entertain you with various demonstrations of medieval living. The Red Lion is always a central part of the fun, and popular with the re-enactors and visitors alike. More information here.
