Foot-stomping fun, but taking inspiration from their namesakes – the agricultural workers of the 1830s who destroyed threshing machines and other agricultural machinery across southern and eastern England in protest against low wages and punitative tithes – they perform with passion and humour, playing a mixture of their own music and old folk songs, many with a powerful message of their own.
