The EDAA campaigns to create a dementia-friendly community in Evesham and across the Vale. They help raise awareness of people who are living with dementia, and their carers, and provide support and training for businesses, community organisations, and carers. The February quizzers raised a fantastic £445 to help their cause.
Roundabout is a non-profit furniture and homewares charity; they take donations of furniture, some of which is sold in their Blackminster shop, some is shared with other charities, some is given directly to local people in need. Every year, on the last Saturday before Christmas, there’s a day of enthusiastic chaos when The Original Welsh Border Morris Men come together for a single tour (and one ale-influenced rehearsal).
